About Salem Manor

The Salem Manor Society, organized in 1971, is a voluntary religious Society incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Society owns and operates Salem Manor Nursing Home, established in 1980 (and a Life Lease housing complex, Salem Village Mews, completed in 2006).

Salem Manor Society, an accredited facility, boasts a dedicated team of over 140 employees devoted to the residents' quality of care. In recent years, significant enhancements and renovations have been implemented throughout the facility, including upgrades to bathing and nursing stations, as well as common areas, all aimed at enhancing resident comfort. This year, our focus is on modernizing our nurse call bell system. This upgrade aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of care delivery, ensuring that our residents continue to receive the highest standard of care possible
