About Caledon Meals on Wheels

Since 1984, Caledon Meals on Wheels has been providing vital nutrition, health promotion and social-recreational programs to close to 800 unique individuals each year in the Caledon, Orangeville and surrounding areas. Although the majority of our clients are Seniors, we also support people with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or surgery.

Our charitable organization consists of a small but mighty staff team and over 120 volunteers. Together we work collectively to improve the lives of those living within our community by providing programs and services that help residents live independently in their homes for as long as possible with the best quality of life possible.

Our 4 core programs/ services include:

- Hot and Frozen Meal Delivery with Safety Checks

- Seniors Social Wellness Groups- including 14 weekly programs and special Seniors events

- Friendly Visiting - In home or over the phone

- Project Lifesaver - which provides locating equipment for individuals or any age at risk of wandering

Our client feedback for all of our programs continually comes back positive and reinforces that we are making a real difference in the lives of people in our community.

Your support of this event will help us continue to bring nutritional support, community connections, and enhanced quality of life to those in our community.
