The Celebration of a Lifetime. The Grand Parade is a super-fun, family-friendly fundraising walk that celebrates and supports aging Canadians and their families across Canada. Join us on Saturday, June 1, 2019!
A Vision Turned Into A Reality!
It really began with an idea and a group of older adults. Older adults and caregivers told us what they needed in their current transitions and the younger generation what their concerns were for the future. We’ve got this one, and together as communities we can do it.
Often in our society ageing is shunned when it actually should be viewed as a privilege and a time of attained wisdom. Some never get to live to their golden age. Extended life, technology and family relocation add to the challenge of finding appropriate resources to assist our older population.
Where do you go for help when you've never been in a specific life changing transition? What are the resources? Will there be a person at the end of the telephone line?
