About The Ontario Finnish Resthome
For the past 50 years, The Ontario Finnish Resthome has been the number one choice for senior accommodations, providing multi-level care and support services in an atmosphere that maintains the highest quality of care in the Sault Ste. Marie Area and District.
Our Foundation has raised millions to provide our residents with new equipment, recreational activities, upgrades to the facilities, and to support our capital campaigns including the current 128 bed New Mauno Kaihla Koti (MKK) Long-term Care Redevelopment Fund.
The funds raised on Sept. 21st with The Grand Parade will provide new furnishing upgrades to our current MKK that are needed for our long-term care residents now, and will be transferred to the new home in the future. These furnishing upgrades include dining room chairs with lift mechanisms and common area/lounge area seating.
We invite you to become part of our “Homes with a Heart” by joining in the Grand Parade. Become a captain or join a team and reach out to the people you know and raise money to support the residents of OFRA today – because your heart makes it their home!
