Host or join a TGP Team Walk with a small group of friends and family on September 18, 2021! Fundraise + have fun in support of aging Canadians and their families across Canada.
For those raise $150 or more, we’ll be thanking you for your efforts with a sweet, super-soft TGP t-shirt that you’ll be proud to wear (and maybe even brag about)!
Please connect with us if you haven't already picked up or received your t-shirt.
Please wear a mask. Queue up 6 feet apart from the next person in line, and we'll move through the process cheerfully and quickly, celebrating your fundraising in the safest way possible.
Most teams will decide to walk in the morning, choosing between 1 km or 5 km distances, likely on a paved park pathway or equivalent. Many will end with a small Covid-friendly celebration afterward (lunch, tea, barbeque, etc.).
One Care Home & Community Support Services helps seniors and individuals with health challenges receive the care they need to stay safely in their homes. We support people living in Huron and Perth Counties with services like home care, transportation, meals on wheels, adult day programs, exercise and wellness.
ONE CARE is set to hold its annual fundraising walk – The Grand Parade – with a new twist in 2020. Because of COVID-19 we won’t be joining together for our usual walk. This year, The ONE CARE Grand Parade allows participants to register a team and fundraise as always, but with the freedom to walk the distance they want, when they want, and where they want. Videos or pictures of teams will be submitted in early September, and a montage of photos will be put together into a video, like a VIRTUAL PARADE. The virtual parade will be aired on the ONE CARE Facebook page on Sept 19th for everyone to enjoy from home!
