Waivers

All participants should register online.

  • Adults accept the waiver automatically when they register online.
  • Youth/Children under 18 need a waiver signed by their parent or guardian.
  • An online waiver form will be emailed to all parents/guardians before TGP Day.
  • Waiver forms will be available at check-in on TGP Day.

What to Bring

A few common sense suggestions:

  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Good shoes for walking
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • A passion for the charity you're walking and fundraising for

Handling Money

  • Credit Card: The Best Option! Simple, secure, automatically tax receipted for gifts of $20+. Visit the Donate page, share your personal page link, or have your donor call the TGP Head Office.
  • Cheques: The Old Faithful - made out to The Grand Parade with your name on the Memo line. Mail them to TGP Head Office along with your completed pledge form.
  • Cash: You have 2 options:
  • 1. Login to FundHub, click “Enter $$ and Cheques,” create pledges for your cash donations, pay them off with your personal credit card, and keep the cash. OR...
  • 2. Write a cheque (made out to “The Grand Parade”) for the total amount of cash you’ve collected. Mail it to the TGP Head Office with your completed pledge sheet.

The Challenge

Got a big-hearted business, workplace, group, church, or community? Step up and join the Challenge to compete for your local pride in support of TGP. Check the National Challengeboard to see more!

About Dundas Manor

The WDMH Foundation was incorporated on December 23, 1993, to raise funds for equipment and capital projects for the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. In 2020, our work expanded to include fundraising for the Dundas Manor Long-Term Care Home. We are currently raising funds to build a new home, to replace the existing home.

We’re ready to expand the circle of compassionate care in our communities. We need to build a new Dundas Manor.

Thank you for working with us to build a brand-new home — one with larger resident rooms, accessible spaces, and more privacy. Plus, we will welcome 30 more residents.

The incredible staff at Dundas Manor love caring for your parents, grandparents, siblings, neighbours, and friends. Someday, they might even care for you too. That would be an honour. Our family wants to be here to look after your family.

To make this new home a reality, our community will need to donate $18 million of the total cost. We are well on our way – thanks to our generous donors! But we still have a long way to go - and by participating in this event, you can help!

Our community is a place where we do what we can for each other. Here, neighbours are friendly and look out for one another. We share the good and the bad. We believe in looking after our own and caring for the people who built this community. We, as a community, can reach the goal and ensure that the new manor is built soon! The plan is to have construction start this fall!

Our event will raise funds for the Dundas Manor Redevelopment, building a new, safe, spacious home for our wonderful residents and staff.

Thank you for joining us and keeping the magic going. Let’s build the new, safe Dundas Manor, together!
